How does it work?

The measurement of Tapio RQP Live is based on measuring the deceleration of an impact hammer hitting the sample over 30 times per second while simultaneously measuring the location of the profiler with a distance measurement wheel.

The device has a barcode scanner that can to automatically create a roll folder in the device. The current hardness value, speed and location are shown to the user during measurement.

Immediately after measurement, the device displays the hardness profile and statistical KPI values of the measured roll, allowing for a quick and efficient judgment of the roll quality with a convenient alert limits feature.
